High profile speakers at Northern Europe´s largest port and port-cities conference

Ports and Port-Cities - Post 2030 is a trendspotting conference in Malmö, Sweden, 6-8 November 2017. The international Conference offers a two-day program consisting of a series of parallel sessions and panel workshops, where participants can access practice-oriented and valuable information to help them stay on top of the newest developments relevant to ports and port cities today and in the future.

- We are facing unprecedented times of large global changes considering consumption, manufacturing production, logistics, city development, technology, digitalization and climate change/air quality- strategies. All these drivers will have huge impacts on modern ports and port-cities during the upcoming years, Peter Askman, Strategist, Maritime Affairs, Region Skåne, says.

The conference supports the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and in particular Goal 9: Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.

Ports and Port-Cities - Post 2030 is a collaboration between The World Maritime University (WMU), Region Skåne, The City of Malmö, Lighthouse, Resilient Region Association, Swedish Maritime Technological Forum and Ports of Sweden.
