Maritime transport at Linnaeus University Summer Academy

During summers, Linnaaus Unviersity welcomes student from all over the world. Coming summer, 2017, there is an interesting course about maritime transport.
The courses within Linnaeus University Summer Academy originate in Swedish culture and an innovative mindset. They are workshop-oriented and have a strong student focus. Courses are offered on undergraduate and graduate level. All courses are 7.5 credit full-time courses, taught in English and many have general entry requirements.
There are several interesting courses but we put special notice to this one:
The engine of the global economy – maritime transport
7.5 credits
Shipping has an enormous impact on our daily lives. In this course, we address and analyse the technological, economic and environmental factors that drive the shipping industry today. Which factors are today most vital for building a viable and sustainable transport industry?
