The Moderate Party’s shipping group visited Göteborg

"Sweden is dependent on shipping and the water is the way ahead" wrote moderate parliamentary politician Hans Rothenberg after he and other politicians from the Moderate party visited Gothenburg.
Lighthouse hosted the meeting, which included presentations and conversations with researchers from Chalmers and the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg.
The visit ended with an appreciated demonstration of Chalmers simulators and the politicians attempted to drive a tanker boat in Gothenburg's inlet.
“With these experiences, we, moderate politicians, will continue to work for the important future of shipping”, says Hans Rothenberg about the visit.
To create an interest and highlight the need for maritime research and innovation is an important task for Lighthouse and Lighthouse has previously met politicians from the Social Democratic Party.
