In February, Lighthouse was appointed to run the Swedish Transport Administration’s industry program Sustainable Shipping for SEK 100 million. Together with another 50 million in expected co-financing, this money will finance projects that will make shipping more sustainable. Shipping will not just be more environmentally friendly, but also more cost-effective, safer and a more healthy and attractive workplace.
But how is this going to happen? What will be included in the program? Come to Gothenburg May 20th and you’ll find out!
At this, the first annual conference on Sustainable Shipping, the program is presented broadly (background, purpose, future etc) as well as the projects that’s included in the pregram’s first year. During the day, the industry’s different stakeholders will also give their perspectives on where they see development needs to achieve sustainable shipping.
Good mingle opportunities, coffee and good lunch are included.
