After the summer, Andreas Bach will take over as the new director of Lighthouse. He joins from RISE, where he currently heads the Maritime System Innovation unit.

In addition to his solid experience in the maritime sector, he also has extensive experience from all the sectors that make up the Lighthouse platform—academia, industry, and the public sector. Andreas is a sea captain and holds a master’s degree from the World Maritime University. His background and credentials reflect Lighthouse’s operations in many ways, and he is also a highly respected leader," says Joel Smith, Chairman of the Board at Lighthouse.

When Andreas Bach assumes the role after the summer, he will initially work alongside the current director Åsa Burman, who will step down later this fall.
