Nordic Roadmap – Green shipping corridor initiatives in a Nordic perspective – Göteborg
Within the Nordic roadmap for marine fuels project supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers, IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute, DNV, and Lighthouse invite you to a seminar on “Green shipping corridor initiatives in a Nordic perspective”. The Nordic Marine Fuel Transition Roadmap recently produced by the project team on behalf of the Nordic Council of Ministers will be presented at the seminar. Then, insights from several pilot studies and green shipping corridor initiatives in the Nordic region will be shared.
The Nordic roadmap for the introduction of sustainable zero-carbon fuels will move the Nordics towards zero-emission shipping. The project facilitates knowledge sharing, alongside the launch of pilot projects and studies that will build experience in new fuels and establish green shipping corridors. The overall aim is to reduce key barriers to implementation and establish a common roadmap for the whole Nordic region and logistics ecosystem towards zero-emission shipping.
